Five Months Can Change Everything in the Yuncture Incubator

The Yuncture Incubator is a five-month program where entrepreneurs receive ongoing guidance from carefully selected mentors drawn from both Hammarviken's and Yuncture's networks. The program is completely free of charge and requires no equity in return. At its core is a genuine commitment to supporting both the entrepreneur and the idea.

The incubator is also a clear example of how Yuncture contributes to Hammarviken's broader business. It gives Hammarviken the opportunity to work closely with entrepreneurs at a very early stage, providing valuable insights into emerging needs, new markets, and evolving ways of building companies. It also creates a deeper understanding of how the next generation of entrepreneurs thinks, communicates, and prioritizes. For the group as a whole, it's a way of staying genuinely connected to innovation—not just talking about it in theory.

One example is MyBlend, a company that first participated in the Yuncture Incubator before taking the next step with Yuncture as an investor.

Through the investment, Yuncture contributed not only funding but also strategic guidance, industry experience, and active involvement in the company's continued growth. For MyBlend, this included access to expertise in entrepreneurship and retail, as well as support in identifying new sales channels.

This illustrates how Yuncture works with its portfolio companies in practice: as a long-term partner that grows alongside entrepreneurs and contributes far more than financing alone.

Investment Criteria That Reflect Our View of Innovation

Yuncture does not seek to become a majority shareholder. We believe entrepreneurs should retain strong ownership and the incentive to continue driving and developing their businesses.

For us, the founding team is often even more important than the idea itself. Great ideas can evolve, but a capable team with the ability to build and grow a company is one of the strongest predictors of long-term success. That's why personal chemistry, shared values, and trust are key factors in every investment decision.

Before making an investment, we also look for proof of concept—ideally demonstrated through paying customers or a successful pilot project. Finally, the business must be scalable and have the potential to reach SEK 50 million in annual revenue within five years.
