Stavdal acquires Hyr City
Stavdal AB acquires Hyr City in Karlstad AB. The company, which operates rental of construction machinery and related equipment in Karlstad, currently has a turnover of approximately 26 million SEK and a total of eight employees.
Hyr City in Karlstad AB was founded in 2005 by Gunnar Asp and had a turnover of approximately 9 million SEK in its first year. Since its inception, the company has operated with a genuine approach and a strong connection to Karlstad and Värmland. The company is currently led by Richard Asp, son of Gunnar.
Stavdal had previously established with lifts in the area, but after the acquisition, it can now offer a comprehensive range of products in Karlstad. The company Hyr City will continue to operate without major changes and becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Stavdal.
”With Hyr City, we finally become a complete supplier in Karlstad and its surroundings. Our long-standing relationship with Gunnar and Richard made it very easy for Stavdal to take this step. We knew how skilled they are and how well they fit into our organization,” says Mikael Olsson, CEO of Stavdal AB.
Through the acquisition, Stavdal strengthens its position as one of the leading players in the Swedish rental market.
