ÖIS Construction and Real Estate Forum in collaboration with Hammarviken
Last Wednesday, stakeholders from the construction and real estate industry gathered at a location with a special history. The venue where Hans Wallenstam played floorball in the 90s, when Wallenstam owned the property and used it as its headquarters, is now a vibrant event space in our building.
The event space was transformed into an arena for discussions about the future real estate market. ÖIS Construction and Real Estate Forum, which we organize together with ÖIS, is a unique meeting place for industry stakeholders. After a few years of hiatus due to the pandemic and our renovation, it was finally time again – and what a comeback it was!
The theme was "Today's Real Estate Market – from a Historical and Future Perspective", and who better to speak on the topic than Hans Wallenstam? With his deep connection to the industry and the history of our property, he was the perfect speaker to provide insights and new perspectives on the future of the real estate market. In the interview, moderated by Mats Rydhede, questions were raised about how to navigate a real estate company through challenging times, as well as future forecasts for housing construction, urban development, and more. Hans expressed the view that major cities will continue to expand, while smaller towns will experience slower growth. Engaging discussions took place on topics such as housing and financial policies.
Our key takeaway is that there is a significant need and interest among professionals in the industry to meet, network, and share knowledge and experiences. We are pleased to be able to create this platform together with ÖIS through the Construction and Real Estate Forum.
