Aleksander Barjaba – Maintenance and Upkeep

Since 2012, Aleksander has been an invaluable part of our team. He oversees the daily maintenance of our properties, ensuring everything functions smoothly with his tireless dedication. From inspecting technical areas to making sure our tenants are happy, Aleks’ work is essential to Hammarviken.

With a strong interest in ventilation and technical systems, he’s always on top of the details. His work not only facilitates the operation of our properties but also supports our long-term growth in property management.

Fun fact: Aleks is affectionately known as “the Greek” in the office since he was born and raised in Greece, specifically on the island of Corfu.

Michael Lenberg – Strategy and Development

With extensive experience in the property industry, Michael plays a key role in our team. Since 2021, he’s been involved in managing and developing our properties, though his connection with Hammarviken dates back to the early 2000s. Michael is responsible for identifying and acquiring new properties, developing, and following up on maintenance plans, and working actively on energy efficiency for our properties. His strategic thinking enables us to continuously grow and evolve, both as a company and within the property sector.

Fun fact: One of Michael’s hobbies is lobster fishing.

Helene Hansson – Finance and Administration

Helene has been with Hammarviken since 2011 and has handled our properties since 2015. With her keen eye for detail and knack for numbers, she oversees all financial matters related to our properties. She ensures that contracts are kept up to date and that property maintenance runs smoothly. Helene also contributes her expertise to our subsidiaries, managing accounting and tax declarations. Her role is central to our business development, ensuring we have the financial foundation to expand our property portfolio.

Fun fact: Helene’s favorite movie is Billy Elliot.

Roger Elmerson – Construction and Operations

Roger joined us in 2016, initially as a co-owner of Hällingsjö Hus, one of our subsidiaries. His extensive experience in construction quickly made him an integral part of our property team. Among other things, Roger led the renovation of our office building, a project that highlighted his strengths in project management and construction.

Today, Roger is responsible for the operation and maintenance of several of our properties, making him a valuable asset to Hammarviken. With his background in construction and his ability to keep our properties in top condition, he is a crucial member of the team.

Fun fact: When he’s not working, Roger enjoys cooking.

Lars Ivarson – Property Developer

Throughout his career, Lars has worked with construction and property development. He began as an entrepreneur and property developer, eventually serving as the Urban Development Director for the City of Gothenburg, where he and about 250 colleagues were responsible for the city’s physical planning. This included everything from comprehensive and detailed planning to building permits and city measurements.

Lars has been a board member of Hammarviken Project Development for several years and is now actively involved in the preparation and planning of upcoming projects.

Fun fact: In 2025, Lars will compete in his 40th Vasaloppet ski race. Go, Lars!
