Hammarviken Behind Major Investment: Logisnext Builds New Facility in Mölnlycke
Hammarviken is investing in Mölnlycke and constructing a new office for Mitsubishi Logisnext. The building is set to be completed in spring 2026. As a result, 100 jobs will remain in the municipality, despite parts of Logisnext’s operations recently being relocated abroad.
Hammarviken Invests in Mölnlycke with a New Office for Mitsubishi Logisnext
After Logisnext sold its previous premises and production facilities in Mölnlycke, it was uncertain whether the company would remain in the municipality. Thanks to Hammarviken’s decision to build new facilities and take a bold step in a cautious construction market, Logisnext has chosen to maintain its presence in Mölnlycke. The new office will be built along Highway 40, directly across the road from their former location.
Mitsubishi Logisnext Enters a New Phase
With roots in the renowned forklift company Atlet, Mitsubishi Logisnext has been based in Mölnlycke since the 1970s. As one of Härryda municipality’s largest employers, the company will continue its operations in the area. The new office building will place an increased focus on the sales office and test workshop.
“It feels great to be part of taking Logisnext into the next phase—remaining in the same area but in brand-new, tailored facilities.”
Martin Björkroth, CEO of Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe
Hammarviken’s Bold Investment in Challenging Times
Hammarviken is a Gothenburg-based corporate group with an established presence in Härryda municipality through real estate and businesses, including Hällingsjö Hus and Hällingsjö Träkonstruktioner.
“Logisnext and Härryda municipality are fantastic partners, and we at Hammarviken look forward to continuing our collaboration for many years to come. It’s rewarding to contribute to keeping Mölnlycke an attractive business hub.”
Mats Rydhede, Chairman of Hammarviken
A Successful Collaboration Between Multiple Partners
The project is built on a close and efficient collaboration between Logisnext, Hammarviken, Kålltorps Bygg, and Härryda municipality. All parties highlight the positive dialogue as a key factor in ensuring the project was launched quickly and smoothly.
The office building is expected to be completed in spring 2026. Until then, Logisnext will temporarily relocate to one of Hammarviken’s existing properties at Processvägen 5 in Mölnlycke.
