BESAB AB is an independent specialist company in the rock, concrete and foundation area. They specialize in advanced rock work and concrete repairs of socially important facilities. The various services BESAB offers range from sealing, reinforcement and maintenance of tunnels, rock chambers and rock slopes to performing concrete repairs on, for example, bridges, power plants, tunnels and parking garages.
Hammarviken became a partner in BESAB in the spring of 2021. Together with the company’s previous owners and management, the company now continues to develop into a long term partnership. With BESAB’s 65-year experience as specialists in the rock, concrete and foundation area, the Hammarviken Group is expanding its operations in the construction industry.
The head office is located in Gothenburg and the business is divided into two business areas. Furthermore, the two business areas have four production departments each, which cover the geographical perspective. BESAB has its customers mainly in Sweden but also in the rest of the Nordic region.
Trought BESAB AB’s sister company BESAB Teknik AB, technology – related services are offered within the various parts of the Group. They also work actively close to universities and schools, in order to be the most innovative actor in the industry.
BESAB AB’s other sister company, BESAB Maskin AB, manages the Group’s machinery and is responsible for its warehouses and workshops located in Gothenburg and Stockholm.
