Since our inception almost 20 years ago, we have experienced fantastic growth, adding more companies to our portfolio and welcoming new employees. Our guiding principles, openness, honesty, and respect have always been our north star. As we continue to grow, there is an increasing need to articulate and communicate our values and work methods more clearly.
As part of this effort, we have established a Code of Conduct that serves as a tool to facilitate our work and provide clarity on how to act in different situations, our goal is for the Code of Conduct to give us confidence and guidance in standing up for our values. The document is for everyone working within Hammarviken and clarifies how to interact with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

A Code of Conduct emphasizes the approach that applies within Hammarviken and in our interactions with the outside world and society at large. As the parent company inte the group, we are clear that sustainability efforts are important,” says Sofia Regestand, CEO of Hammarviken.
The Code of Conduct is part of a larger sustainability initiative that we have embarked on. The initial steps taken include developing a sustainability vision based on Agenda 2030, as well as a variety of policies and procedures.
As part of this effort, we have been approved for, membership in the UN Global Compact, let by the United Nations. The Un Global Compact is the largest sustainability network for companies, offering members access to training, practical tools, and a broad network to help companies accelerate their sustainability efforts. Through their principles, which encompass areas such as human rights, labor rights, environment, and anticorruption, they assist companies in creating the right conditions for achieving the global goals and Agenda 2030.
